At least five people have been killed and at least 32 injured in Russian attacks on Ukraine over the past 24 hours, regional authorities said on May 28.

A Russian glide bomb attack on Kharkiv on May 27, killed a woman and injured 13 people, Governor Oleh Syniehubov said.

Four people were reportedly injured elsewhere in the oblast.

Russian forces launched a missile attack on the town of Snihurivka in Mykolaiv Oblast on 27 May, three people killed and six injured, including three children, Governor Vitaly Kim said.

Russia attacked the area around the border town of Semenivka Chernihiv Oblast with artillery and drones on 27 May, injuring two people, Regional administration said.

In Dnipropetrovsk OblastDuring Russian attacks on the Nikopol district, a 56-year-old man on 27 May and a 32-year-old man on the morning of May 28, said Governor Serhii Lysak.

In Donetsk Oblast, In Russian attacks, one person was killed in Kalynivka and two were injured in Lyman and one in Verkhokamyanske, Governor Vadym Filashkin reported.

Russian attacks against Kherson Oblast two people injured, governor Oleksandr Prokudin said.

The Luhansk, Sumy and Zaporizhia oblasts were also attacked, but no casualties were reported.

Governor: Death toll in Kharkiv attack on May 25 rises to 18

Syniehubov said the death toll had risen to 18 as of 3:30 p.m. on May 27, while 48 people were confirmed injured.
