Rashee Rice is reportedly facing a new legal problem following Monday’s incident

Rashee Rice is reportedly under investigation over a new legal issue stemming from an incident in Dallas on Monday.

According to WFAA in Dallas, Rice allegedly hit a photographer at a club early Monday morning. Rice, who is currently facing eight charges for his involvement in a car crash in Dallas in March, was already suspended by the NFL and now faces this new allegation.

Police sources tell WFAA that “officers are interviewing witnesses about the incident that allegedly occurred” at an eatery called Lit Kitchen.

It is important to note that at this time this is only an investigation into the allegations and no charges have been filed. If such charges are filed, we will promptly notify you of the new information.

Rice is considered a rising star in Kansas City after having a brilliant rookie season in which he caught 79 passes for 938 yards and seven touchdowns en route to a Super Bowl victory. He became one of Patrick Mahomes’ favorite targets over the course of the season and even recorded 262 receiving yards in the playoffs.

Clark Hunt and the Chiefs previously waited for the trial to complete before imposing punishment themselves, although this is now Rice’s second trouble with law enforcement in the last 45 days.

For a Kansas City team trying to win a third straight Super Bowl, the organization is unlikely to take these issues lightly.

This is a developing story and we will bring you updates as they become available.
