1 dead after shooting in downtown Dallas on Sunday; suspect at large, police say

On Sunday evening, authorities found a man shot to death in downtown Dallas, police said.

At around 11:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Young Street in response to a call about a shooting, according to a Monday news release.

The officers found a man named Xavier Jasso (25) who had been shot, police said. He later died in hospital.

Jasso was shot by “unknown suspects,” the press release states.
