Claiborne County man arrested for aggravated assault

On May 26, 2024, Claiborne County Sheriff’s officers responded to a 911 call in the Pattison area regarding a victim with a gunshot wound. The incident occurred following a verbal altercation.

During our investigation, the suspect was identified as James Goods. Mr. Goods was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and illegal possession of a firearm.
