Jewish Businessman Murdered in Alexandria, Egypt – Report

According to Egyptian media reports, a Jewish businessman was murdered by unknown assailants in the Egyptian city of Alexandria on Tuesday.

The victim was identified as Israeli-Canadian Ziv Kiefer, who was in Egypt to conduct business importing fruits and vegetables.

The incident was a suspected terrorist attack, Hebrew-language media reported.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry has noted the case and said it is actively looking into the matter and working with the Israeli Embassy in Cairo to collect information and provide assistance if necessary.
