Crime in Houston, Texas: Man arrested after shooting at police

HOUSTON — A man is in custody after shooting at Houston police officers in Kingwood Sunday afternoon, according to the Houston Police Department.

Officers responded to a shooting call around 2:30 p.m. at a home on Babbling Creek Drive near W. Lake Houston Pkwy.

HPD said when officers arrived on scene, a woman was found dead inside the home. They said a man started shooting at the officers, but was eventually arrested.

No officers were injured, according to HPD.
