ATTENTION: A popular EPCOT area will be CLOSED next week

If you’re a Disney Vacation Club member, you’ll want to know all about what Disney is closing at Walt Disney World next week.

As a Disney Vacation Club member, you’ll enjoy many benefits, including access to exclusive members-only lounges located throughout the resort. These lounges are especially beneficial on hot, crowded days in the parks, as they provide a cool, relaxing retreat where you can enjoy a variety of amenities.

Some of these amenities include seating, free small snacks and drinks, and WiFi. Our favorite part is probably the air conditioning, which we consider a perk because on those summer days it gets HOT and it’s so nice to have somewhere quiet and cool to relax!

But Disney has announced that one of the popular Disney Vacation Club lounges will be closed for some time.

The lounge on the second floor of the Imagination Pavilion will be closed from June 2 to July 13, 2024.. The reason for the closure? A renovation. Although we are sad that this lounge will be closed for just over a month, a renovation can be good for its preservation and we are sure that the lounge will reopen better than before.

And if you’re a Disney Vacation Club member and are worried that you won’t have a lounge available to you when you visit EPCOT, don’t worry! Disney will provide a temporary lounge in the meantime.

This temporary lounge is located in the Odyssey Pavilion, which sits on the edge of the lagoon between World Showcase and World Discovery. It will remain in operation until the Imagination Pavilion reopens on July 14, 2024.
