Man Wanted for Probation Violation Arrested After SWAT Standoff – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

A man wanted for violating his probation was arrested Monday after a SWAT stop in Dayton.

According to a U.S. Marshals spokesman, an arrest warrant was issued for Jeffery Bowlin after he violated his probation.

Bowlin was paroled on an original charge of robbery. He also faces a burglary charge out of Miami County.

On Monday, he was discovered by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at an address on York Avenue.

U.S. Marshals and deputies surrounded the home, but he refused to come out, according to U.S. Marshals.

The Dayton SWAT team was then called to the home.

Bowlin eventually left the room and was arrested.

He is in the Miami County Jail awaiting arraignment.
