Two people are wanted after a Woodlawn High School senior was killed in a shooting on W 70th Street

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – One arrest has been made and two others are being sought after a 17-year-old Woodlawn High School senior was killed in a shooting.

On Tuesday, May 7, Shreveport Police released information asking for the public’s help in locating two people for questioning in connection with the fatal shooting.

On May 1, Shreveport officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 800 block of W 70th Street. When they got there, they learned that a 17-year-old had been shot and taken to a local hospital in a private car. According to police, he was pronounced dead at the hospital. The coroner’s office identified the teen as Artavious Prim.

Investigators began an investigation and spoke with 20-year-old Bryson Turner, who drove Prim to the hospital. Police say he was uncooperative; he was arrested for obstruction of justice.

Further investigation revealed that several people were involved in the fatal shooting, police said. Investigators are looking for Marcus Brown (28) and DeAndre Daniel (28).
