Serious crash in Charlotte, 1 dead

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person has died in an early morning crash in Charlotte on Sunday.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are investigating after the overnight crash blocked the intersection of Dunlavin Way and Eastway Drive.

Police urged drivers to stay away from the area.

They are asking anyone with information to call police.

The deceased person could not be identified.
