Driver killed after crashing into block wall in west Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — One person has died in a rollover accident in the western Las Vegas Valley.

The accident happened just after 8 p.m. at Jones Boulevard and Cromwell Circle near Charleston Boulevard, police said.

According to Las Vegas Metro Police, the driver of a sedan was traveling south on Jones Boulevard when he crashed into the corner block wall of a home, causing the car to roll.

The person in the car was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
