1 person missing after boating accident on Annapolis River

A fire department in Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley says one person is missing after a boating accident Monday evening.

According to the Annapolis Royal Volunteer Fire Department, four people were in the boat when it got into trouble on the Annapolis River. Three people have been found, but one person is still missing.

The Annapolis River originates near the community of Aylesford and flows approximately 75 miles (120 kilometers) southwest to its mouth near Clementsport, where it flows into the Annapolis Basin.
