Inauguration of the new gas pipeline

The 31-kilometer-long, 24-inch-diameter gas pipeline was inaugurated on Thursday by SSGC Managing Director Imran Maniar.

This will improve the supply to the western region of Karachi. This pipeline from MVA ACPL to SMS Surjani will largely solve the problems of low pressure gas supply to the company’s industrial customers in the western region.

The cost of the entire project is Rs 3,859 crore. The project will separate the low pressure domestic and commercial customers from the high pressure industrial customers of SITE and Hub industrial areas.
