Woman arrested for assaulting toddler in Spokane Valley | News

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – A woman was arrested Monday for assaulting a toddler, according to Spokane Valley police.

On July 21 at approximately 8:15 p.m., SVPD responded to a report that a baby was sleeping and possibly dead in an apartment complex south of Mirabeau Point Park.

When they arrived, officers and paramedics found a five-month-old baby in need of life-saving attention.

The SVPD arrested 22-year-old Amlyann Harry, the toddler’s mother.

Harry was booked into the Spokane County Jail on a first-degree charge of child abuse.

The infant remains in critical condition and his injuries are life-threatening.
