Adam Pearce confirms Drew McIntyre’s suspension from WWE RAW

Drew McIntyre is still suspended.

Drew McIntyre was suspended after the WWE Money in the Bank show for his behavior, which included attacking officials and touching RAW General Manager Adam Pearce. McIntyre was angry after CM Punk robbed him of his Money in the Bank funds. Pearce then agreed to meet with McIntyre at CM Punk’s request.

Pearce and McIntyre met in the ring on the July 15 episode of WWE RAW. The General Manager addressed McIntyre’s issues with Punk and said he knew a fight between the two could be special. Pearce told McIntyre he had to put his emotions aside to do business. McIntyre said he wanted the fight more than anything.

McIntyre had the fans chant for the match and asked Pearce to make it official. Pearce called the referees McIntyre had attacked into the ring and demanded that he apologize. McIntyre refused, but Pearce insisted. McIntyre refused again, saying that Pearce should apologize to him for what Punk did to him. Pearce countered by saying that McIntyre was still suspended if he refused to admit what he did. McIntyre was furious and about to punch Pearce.

Before the situation could escalate any further, Seth Rollins stormed into the ring and brawled with McIntyre. Rollins stood his ground and McIntyre reluctantly left the ring.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
