DPS issues CLEAR alert for missing East Texas woman

ANGELINA COUNTY, Texas (KETK) – A woman being treated for dementia may be missing in East Texas and authorities are asking for your help in finding her.

The Angelina County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a brownish-gold 2012 Ford Expedition SUV with Texas license plate DJ7Y526. They said the vehicle belongs to Paula Capps and was last seen in Huntington around 3 p.m.

Capps is described as 5’4″ tall, 130 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing glasses, a dark colored t-shirt, gray shorts, and a wedding ring. DPS issued a CLEAR alert for a missing and possibly endangered adult at 5:30 p.m. Monday.

Anyone who sees her vehicle is asked to call 911 or the ACSO at 936-639-8722 or 936-634-3331 and maintain visual contact until an officer arrives.
