Richmond man injured in motorcycle crash | News

JACKSON COUNTY, Missouri – A Richmond man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash in Jackson County Saturday afternoon.

A Suzuki motorcycle, operated by Trevon J. McDaniel, 20, of Richmond, was traveling eastbound on I-70 in Jackson County near the 16.2 mile marker when he attempted to drive between another vehicle, operated by Brady H. Aust, 27, of Odessa, and an unidentified tractor-trailer.

McDaniel’s motorcycle struck the tractor-trailer, causing the motorcycle to roll over and eject McDaniel. The motorcycle then struck the front of Brady Aust’s vehicle. Another vehicle, driven by Serena M. Hardy, 24, of Independence, attempted to avoid the collision and struck McDaniel.

McDaniel sustained serious injuries and was transported to Centerpoint Hospital by AMR. All other parties reported no injuries.
