GoFundMe was launched to support the children of the slain Flagstaff mother

The family of the Flagstaff woman who went missing in late June and has since been found dead has launched a GoFundMe campaign to support the two children she left behind.

The woman, 45-year-old Kelly Paduchowski, was a victim of domestic violence, according to authorities. Her husband, Daniel Paduchowski, reported her missing on June 30, and her body was found five days later.

In the days since Kelly Paduchowski’s death was confirmed by authorities, family members of the victim have started a GoFundMe campaign.

The fundraising page states that funds are being raised to support Kelly’s two elementary school-aged children. The page also states that the money raised will go towards childcare costs and education expenses, as Kelly’s family members now have custody of the children.

Kelly’s body was found by Flagstaff officers around 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 5. Daniel Paduchowski, Kelly’s husband, was arrested two days after the investigation into Kelly’s disappearance began.

Police said he cooperated with questioning and led police to Kelly’s body, her cellphone, her keys and the gun she was allegedly used to kill.

According to authorities, Daniel Paduchowski agreed to plead guilty to first-degree murder, tampering with evidence, attempting to conceal a corpse and possession of controlled substances.
