Boat collision in Brooklyn: Man killed, 3 others injured in Gerritsen Beach

GERRITSEN BEACH, Brooklyn (WABC) — A man died in a boating accident in Brooklyn.

It happened Saturday in the water near Avenue X in Gerritsen Beach.

According to police, there were three people on one boat, including a 58-year-old man who was killed. There was one man on board the other boat.

The three people who survived the accident were all taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Further details about the collision are not yet available.
