In UP’s Bareilly – India TV converted a schoolgirl, raped her and pushed her in front of a moving train

In a heartbreaking incident in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh, a Muslim youth forcibly converted and raped a Hindu girl. Later. He brutally murdered her by pushing her in front of a moving train. Surprisingly, the case went unregistered for almost 12 hours as the police were caught up in the jurisdictional dispute over the crime scene. The case was finally registered after Hindu organizations intervened and urged quick action.

Student is forced to convert to religion

The victim girl was a 12th grade student. It was alleged that a boy named Fariyad had been molesting the student for a long time. Fariyad violently raped the girl and then made her convert to Islam. Later, Fariyad kidnapped the girl and pushed her in front of a moving train in Fatehganj East police station area, which led to her tragic death.

Police involved in jurisdiction dispute

Surprisingly, the girl’s body remained on the side of the track for several hours as the police were involved in a jurisdictional dispute. When the case against the accused remained unregistered for several hours, Hindu organizations began protesting by dumping the body in front of the police station and shouting slogans against the police administration. As the matter escalated, police officials reached the spot and registered an FIR. Twelve hours later, Shahjahanpur district police sent the student’s body for post-mortem.

SP South Manush Pareek said the body of a student was found near the railway tracks. Shahjahanpur police have conducted the post-mortem of the student. He said that the accused was also arrested. A case has been filed against the accused under serious sections like Religious Conversion Act, POCSO, rape, kidnapping and murder.
