Death of a man in Tampa leads to murder investigation by TPD

TAMPA, Florida – The Tampa Police Department (TPD) has launched a homicide investigation after a man was shot by another person on Saturday.

On Saturday, police were called to 2307 East Busch Boulevard because there was a disturbance.

Preliminary investigations revealed that an argument broke out between two people, as a result of which a man was shot.

The victim was taken to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Police are currently searching for another person who may have been involved in the incident, authorities said.

Officials said it appeared the individuals knew each other and it was not a random incident.
