A Hong Kong Police An officer was found with a gunshot wound to the head at the regional headquarters of a marine unit on Sunday.

A police spokesman said the male officer was found collapsed in the afternoon at the regional headquarters of the maritime police in Sai Wan Ho, east of Hong Kong Island.

According to a source, the senior police officer’s death was confirmed at the scene.
