Suspended lawyer guilty of professional misconduct

A suspended lawyer was found guilty of four counts of professional misconduct in connection with a 2007 real estate transaction.

The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal (SDT) will next week consider what punishment to impose on Declan O’Callaghan, who has been suspended from practising law for other reasons since 2018. The Irish period reports.

The proceedings concerned the sale of land in Aughadiffin, Kilkelly, Co Mayo in April 2007.
