Garfield High under quarantine as Seattle police investigate shooting of teen – KIRO 7 News Seattle

SEATTLE – Seattle police said police responded to a shooting at Garfield High School.

Harborview Medical Center confirmed to KIRO 7 that a teenager was admitted and was in serious condition.

At around 12:31 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 400 block of 23rd Avenue.

At 1:13 p.m., Garfield High School was cordoned off. According to Seattle police, students and parents will be able to meet again on the south side of the school once the lockdown is lifted.

People in the area are asked to avoid the area.
