Kanye West sued for sexual harassment and wrongful termination by ex-assistant

West’s lawyers accused the 35-year-old of blackmailing the rapper.

American rapper Kanye West, known as Ye, and his Yeezy sneaker company have been sued by a former assistant of the celebrity for sexual harassment, wrongful termination and breach of contract, according to a report in the GuardianShe says she was intentionally subjected to emotional distress and is now entitled to $3 million in compensation for breach of contract and the hostile work environment.

Lauren Pisciotta said she lost her job in 2022 after not receiving the $4 million bonus she was promised for her position as West’s “chief of staff.” In addition, she claims a multimillion-dollar severance package was never paid. According to Ms. Pisciotta’s filing, she began working with the rapper in July 2021 as he was preparing to launch his Yeezy clothing line and was offered $1 million. She agreed to the only condition, which was to be available seven days a week, 24 hours a day, according to Page Six.

The 35-year-old alleged in her lawsuit that she earned an additional $1 million from OnlyFans until 2022, when West asked her to stop using the platform and become more “godlike.” In return, he allegedly increased the model’s salary to $2 million a year to make up for the reduced income. However, he never made any adjustments to her salary.

According to the former assistant, West masturbated in front of her on a flight to Paris and she subsequently received explicit messages from him. According to the filing, the rapper allegedly wrote: “My problem is I want to fuck, but after I fuck, I want a girl to tell me how hard she got fucked while I fuck her. Then I want her to cheat on me.”

She claimed that West instructed her to provide him with an erectile dysfunction drug before his sexual encounters, was “obsessed with the penis size” of her partners and sent clips of himself having sex with a model. In another incident, he allegedly locked her in a room together and masturbated next to her before falling asleep. She further claimed that he became angry when she rejected any advances to “go out or have sex” with him.

Meanwhile, West’s legal team accused the 35-year-old of extorting the rapper and called her lawsuit “baseless” in a statement sent to Page Six on Tuesday. “In response to these baseless allegations, Ye will file a lawsuit against Ms. Pisciotta, who actively sexually pursued him in order to obtain employment and other material benefits, and who then extorted him when her advances were rebuffed. Prior to her firing as an assistant, Ms. Pisciotta stole his cellphone in order to destroy phone records that would contradict her claims, all of which were retained,” the statement said.

“She was fired because she was unqualified, demanded unreasonable amounts of money (including an annual salary of four million dollars), and had numerous documented instances of lascivious, disordered behavior,” it said.

West’s team further claimed that Pisciotta “offered sex to Ye on his birthday, which he declined, sent Ye unsolicited nude pictures and sexual narratives, and was seen twerking in the office during business hours.” “Pisciotta offered sex to Ye on his birthday, which he declined, sent Ye unsolicited nude pictures and sexual narratives, and was seen twerking in the office during business hours,” according to a statement from West’s legal team.

They also pointed to an incident in which Pisciotta spoke of being “sprayed by a soccer player while simultaneously texting her boss.”

Ye’s team also accused her of engaging in “sexual assault” to obtain higher compensation and perks, including money for plastic surgery, a Lamborghini and Hermes Birkin handbags.

“After her advances were rebuffed, Pisciotta’s extortion demands have increased from $60 million last year to $50 million in last week’s voided complaint,” the lawyers said, adding that her “conduct is completely inconsistent with that of an individual who claims to have been sexually harassed or experienced a hostile work environment.”
