Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher were photographed enjoying a night out on the town with the brother of convicted rapist Danny Masterson – just months after they humbly apologized for supporting their That ’70s Show co-star during filming.

In September, the couple came under heavy criticism after it was revealed that they had written letters to the judge defending 48-year-old Danny and asking him to be “lenient” in sentencing.

The 40-year-old actress and the 46-year-old former “Two and a Half Men” actor subsequently said they were sorry for the “pain they had caused” and stressed that they “support the victims” in a short joint video posted on their social media accounts.

Now the two, who married in 2015 and have daughter Wyatt Isabelle (9) and son Dimitri Portwood (7), were spotted going out to eat with Danny’s younger brother, actor Jordan Masterson, and another friend.

Photographers caught the group leaving a restaurant called “The Grill on the Alley” in Beverly Hills on Thursday evening.

They reportedly stayed for two hours, arriving and departing in separate cars.

The group was dressed casually for the evening: Mila wore a figure-hugging black top, which she tucked into high-waisted blue trousers and combined with a grey checked jacket.

She rounded off the look with black heels and wore her hair tied back in a tight ponytail.

Ashton opted for a white t-shirt, black pants, a gray sweater and sneakers in a similar color.

Jordan, 38, best known for his role in the comedy “The 40-Year-Old Virgin,” wore jeans, a black button-down sports jacket, a white top underneath, and brown dress shoes.

They were joined by a mysterious brunette who once wrapped her arm around Jordan’s.

In May 2023, Danny was convicted of raping two women in 2003 and sentenced to 30 years in prison in September.

After his verdict, it came to light that Mila and Ashton had written letters to the judge during Danny’s trial.

In the notes, obtained by DailyMail.com, Mila and Ashton raved about Danny, stressing that he always “treated people with decency, equality and generosity.”

“He is an extraordinarily honest and determined person,” Ashton wrote in his message to the judge.

“I can’t remember him ever lying to me in the 25 years we were together. He taught me to be direct and to face problems in life and relationships head on, solve them and move on.”

In her letter, Mila vouched “wholeheartedly” for Danny’s “extraordinary character” and the “tremendously positive influence” he has on those around him, including her.

She even emphasized that Danny was an “outstanding role model” – and praised his strength in staying away from drugs.

“His dedication to avoiding all substances has inspired not only me but countless others in our circle,” she continued.

“Danny’s steadfastness in promoting a drug-free lifestyle has been a shining example on my journey through the world of entertainment and has helped me put my well-being first and focus on making responsible choices.”

After Mila and Ashton’s letters became public, they faced a flood of criticism from people around the world – including other stars like Amy Schumer and Christina Ricci – as well as one of Danny’s victims.

The woman, whose name remains anonymous, described the letters as “incredibly offensive and hurtful.”

“I hope they learn radical responsibility and the importance of educating themselves to recognize when they need to keep their privilege under control,” she said.

The couple subsequently apologized. Ashton – co-founder of Thorn, a nonprofit organization that campaigns against child exploitation – said in their joint Instagram video: “We recognize the pain caused by the character letters we wrote on behalf of Danny Masterson.”

“We support victims,” ​​Mila added. “We have done this through our work in the past and will continue to do so in the future.”

Ashton continued: “A few months ago, Danny’s family reached out to us and asked us to write character letters to represent the person we had known for 25 years so that the judge could fully take that into account when making his sentence.”

Mila continued: “The letters were not written to question the legitimacy of the justice system or the validity of the jury’s verdict.”

“They were intended for the judge. And not to undermine the victims’ statements or re-traumatize them in any way.”

“We would never want to do that. And we are sorry if it has come to that,” Ashton stressed.

“Our condolences go out to every single person who has ever been a victim of sexual assault, sexual abuse or rape,” Mila concluded.

A few days after Danny’s conviction, his wife, Bijou Phillips, who assisted Danny during the trial but filed for divorce a week later, was seen comforting Danny with his brother Jordan.

The two shared a tender embrace before having lunch with Bijou and Danny’s nine-year-old daughter Fianna.

Mila and Ashton’s outing with Jordan comes just days after they posed with their children in public for the first time.

Over the weekend, the family watched the women’s basketball game between the Indiana Fever and the Los Angeles Sparks.

However, some online trolls accused the stars of showing off their children just to look like a intact family after they faced so much criticism for their support of Danny.

“They are using their children to change their image,” one person later wrote on social media.

“First they wrote to the courts because they supported their friend from the ’70s show, and then they kept quiet about their friend P Diddy. These two are getting more and more unlikable.”

Ashton is a longtime friend of Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently facing several legal problems, including multiple rape allegations, and was seen beating up his girlfriend Cassie several years ago.

A source told DailyMail.com that Mila banned Ashton from speaking to Diddy or publicly offering support to the controversial rapper after the two got into trouble over her relationship with Danny.

“There is absolutely no way that Ashton or Mila would publicly show their support for Diddy at this time,” the insider said.

“Despite Ashton’s long history with him, he has distanced himself from Diddy since Cassie’s lawsuit, and even more so in the wake of the new lawsuits.
