CHICAGO (WLS) – An investigation has been launched into complaints about Chicago police officers arresting pro-Palestinian protesters.

The Civilian Office of Police Accountability said it was investigating complaints related to the weekend’s action at the Art Institute of Chicago.

Dozens of protesters were arrested as they tried to take over a garden area of ​​the complex.

ABC7 has learned that the Art Institute is no longer pursuing trespassing charges against those arrested.
