Man shot dead near Atlanta Trap Museum

ATLANTAAtlanta police are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred Sunday evening near the Trap Music Museum in Atlanta.

Authorities responded to 630 Travis Street NW in Atlanta at 7:55 p.m., where they found a 60-year-old man who had been shot multiple times.

He was pronounced dead in the parking lot.

Atlanta Trap Music Museum

“From what we understand, the deceased cleaned the parking lot on site and assisted with parking,” Atlanta Lt. Andrew Smith said.

Police believe the victim was shot during a physical altercation with another man who was brandishing a gun.

The shooter is still on the run.

The homicide unit is continuing the investigation.
