PCG lifts travel ban as weather improves

Vessel movements in Bicol and Central and Eastern Visayas are returning to normal as the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) lifts the suspension of vessel movements due to improved weather conditions.

However, due to tropical storm warnings, increased disruptions are occurring in the NCR-CL and Southern Tagalog-Central Luzon regions, stranding thousands of passengers and causing numerous ships to run aground.

According to PCG, coordination efforts are underway to ensure passenger safety and mitigate the impact of the storm. No major incidents have been reported to date.
