1 shot fired in attempted robbery in Oklahoma City, police looking for suspect

A man was injured in a shooting in southwest Oklahoma City, according to Oklahoma City police.

The victim was near Southwest 15th Street and South Pennsylvania Avenue when he was approached by the suspect, police said.

According to police, a brief scuffle ensued between the victim and the suspect, during which the victim was shot in the shoulder. The suspect fled on foot, police said.

According to police, the victim’s injuries are not life-threatening.

Officials have not released any information about the suspect.
