Labour Party leader Abure suspended

Labour Party national chairman Julius Abure was suspended for alleged anti-party activities.

He was suspended from the LP in Ward 3, Arue-Uromi, Esan North-East Local Government Area of ​​Edo State.

The letter of his suspension dated May 14, 2024 was approved by the Executive Committee of the State of Benin on Friday evening.

The suspension letter was signed by the District Chairman, Thompson Ehiguese, and the District Secretary, Stanley Usiomoh.

She advised the controversial federal chairman to stop pretending to be a party member or to stop showing off.

The suspension, which was approved by the State Executive Committee led by Kelly Ogbaloi, takes effect immediately.

The letter states, in part: “Even though the suspension takes effect immediately, you are advised not to impersonate or display your identity as a member of the Labour Party, Ward 3, Arue, Uromi, Esan, North East Local Government Area of ​​Edo State.”
