Two suspects have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Randolph

RANDOLPH, Mass. (WWLP) – Two suspects were arrested last week in connection with an armed robbery near Johnson Drive in Randolph.

According to the Randolph Police Department, officers were called to the area of ​​Johnson Drive on Monday for a report of an armed robbery where two suspects had allegedly robbed someone in a vehicle. It was also alleged that they were carrying a black revolver. No one was injured in the robbery.


One of the suspects who was later identified Shaun Culbreath Isles, 18, of Malden, was taken into custody after leading officers on a chase. He is said to have stolen jewelry and a cell phone from the victim. Culbreath-Isles was then arrested for possession of stolen checks.

Another suspect, 20 years old Eliezer Beato of Malden, ran away from the incident. After an investigation, police identified Beato as the second suspect in the alleged robbery.

Police were unable to locate Beato in the area Monday, but he was arrested Friday at a residence he knew on Warren Avenue in Malden. Beato was searched and eight stolen checks were found on him.

Beato was taken to the Randolph Police Department where he was arraigned and later transported to Quincy District Court. He was arraigned Friday afternoon.

  • Malicious destruction of property
  • Resisting arrest

Shaun Culbreath-Isles was arrested and charged:

  • Armed robbery
  • Possession of a firearm without an FID card
  • Possession of a burglary tool
  • Receipt of stolen property (8x)
