Steve Buscemi was attacked in a random act of violence in NYC

Popular actor and former FDNY firefighter Steve Buscemi is one of the latest victims of random violence in New York City, according to his publicist.

According to police, the attack happened last Wednesday in front of 369 Third Ave. in Kips Bay. They say the victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition with bleeding, bruising and swelling in his left eye. Most recently, Buscemi’s Boardwalk Empire co-star Michael Stuhlbarg was reportedly attacked with a rock in Central Park.

Sources close to Buscemi tell News 12 New York that the actor is “doing well” and is privately recovering.
