A multi-car crash leaves one dead and four hospitalized in Santa Clarita

One person was killed and four others were injured in a two-car crash late Saturday in Santa Clarita.

According to California Highway Patrol officials, the accident occurred near Sand Canyon Road and Sierra Highway just before 11:30 p.m.

While the circumstances leading to the accident remain unclear, it is said that a speeding black truck collided with a white SUV, leaving one person dead and four others hospitalized.

Their conditions remain unclear.

The deceased victim has not yet been identified.
