Police ID victim killed in Yellow Freight crash as Tennessee man

Police said they have identified the person who died in an accident at the former Yellow Freight site on Thursday.

According to investigators, 61-year-old Stanley Weglarz of Tennessee was in the yard helping to direct trucks when he was struck by a cargo truck cab that was trying to hook up to an empty trailer.

Yellow Freight will cease operations in Maybrook in the summer of 2022.
