Report: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s son Pax, 20, in hospital after e-bike accident

Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt, the son of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, was reportedly hospitalized on Monday, July 29, following an accident in Los Angeles.

The 20-year-old was reportedly riding his e-bike in a busy area on Los Feliz Boulevard around 5 p.m. local time when the accident occurred, law enforcement sources told TMZ.

According to the source, Pax was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident and suffered a head injury and pain in his hip.

He was taken to a nearby Los Angeles hospital for treatment and is said to be stable, the outlet said.

The Los Angeles Police Department told PEOPLE that a man in his early 20s was riding a scooter when an accident was reported at 5:12 p.m. on July 29, and that a serious traffic accident report was filled out.

Representatives for Jolie and Pitt did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

The incident comes weeks after Pax and his 49-year-old mother were spotted enjoying a mother-son dinner in LA. On July 12, the two were photographed heading to celebrity hotspot Sushi Park in West Hollywood.

Jolie also has 22-year-old Maddox Chivan, 19-year-old Zahara Marley, 18-year-old Shiloh Nouvel and twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline, 16, with her ex-husband Pitt, 60.

For several of Jolie and Pitt’s children, new chapters in their lives are beginning: Zahara is attending Spelman College and Vivienne is working with her mother on the production of the Broadway show The outsiderwhich recently won, among other things, the award for Best New Musical at the 2024 Tony Awards.
