Saturday Weather: Scattered Thunderstorms Expected in Parts of Metro Atlanta – WSB-TV Channel 2

ATLANTA — Some rain is moving away, but more storms are expected to hit the metro area later Saturday.

Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Eboni Deon It says rain and isolated thunderstorms in the Atlanta metro area this morning will move out, but more thunderstorms will develop later in the morning west of Atlanta.

Deon said there would be scattered rain and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening and temperatures would remain cooler than normal and in the 80s.

The weather situation is not expected to change until the middle of next week, with maximum temperatures between 80 and 85 degrees, as well as afternoon thunderstorms each day.

Deon says the storms will be capable of producing heavy rain, which could lead to localized flooding.
