1 person killed in shooting in far east El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – One person is dead following a shooting in far east El Paso early Saturday morning, July 20, El Paso police said.

Just before 4 a.m., police responded to a 911 call reporting multiple gunshots in the area of ​​4101 Rich Beem Blvd., near the Gonzalez Park Apartments, police said.


When officers arrived, they found a fatally injured person in the parking lot, it was said.

Both the Crimes Against the Person Division and the Criminal Investigation Division assisted in the investigation.

Police say this is an active investigation that is still in its early stages.
