1 dead and 1 injured after collision with delivery truck in Fall River

FALL RIVER, Massachusetts (WPRI) – Police say two pedestrians were struck by a delivery truck in Fall River on Wednesday.

The accident occurred around noon in the 200 block of Joseph Drive.

According to police, one person did not survive the impact and was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other person was taken to a trauma center with “significant but non-life-threatening injuries.”

Detectives are still investigating this incident.
