Silver Alert issued for missing, endangered man last seen in Palo Alto

(BCN) — The California Highway Patrol has issued a Silver Alert for a missing, endangered man who was last seen in Palo Alto on Tuesday.

The CHP said 71-year-old Alan Ranft was last seen in the area of Encina Grande Drive and Amaranta Avenue in Palo Alto. He was believed to be on foot.

He was probably wearing a jacket, black pants and white shoes with blue stripes.
Ranft is 1.65 m tall, weighs 70 kg and has grey hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
