London police officers charged with sexual abuse of two children and rape of an adult | My London News

A serving Metropolitan Police officer has been charged with sexually abusing two children and raping an adult. Jamie Howlett, 33, formerly of Horley, is accused of six counts of sexual assault by touching a child under 13, relating to two alleged victims, according to Surrey Police.

He is also accused of five counts of rape, one count of controlling and coercive behavior, one count of sexual assault by touching, one count of sexual assault by penetration and one count of assault, each against a third adult victim.

Howlett, a serving Metropolitan Police officer, is due to appear at Staines Magistrates’ Court on August 9.
