Vacaville motorcycle police officer killed in ‘serious traffic accident’

(FOX40.COM) — A Vacaville police officer riding a motorcycle was killed in a crash in the city, Vacaville police said.

Police described the accident, which occurred near Leisure Town Road and Orange Drive, as a “serious traffic accident.”

The intersection is located on the northeast edge of the city, one block from the Interstate 80 ramps.

CHP said the intersection was closed and would remain closed for several hours.
