Bull “Cletus” is adopted after bus accident in Adams County

ADAMS COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) – Cletus the bull has been officially adopted, just over two weeks after several animals were rescued from a horrific case of animal cruelty.

According to the Adams County SPCA, the bull Cletus was adopted after he was found in a trailer on the side of the road.

“We are so happy for him and his new family,” the Adams County SPCA said on Facebook. “He will live his best life on a farm with other rescued animals. I’m sure he will miss his pony friend Blue, but I have no doubt he will make new friends in no time!”

This adoption comes just over two weeks after the Adams County SPCA took in over two dozen animals from a school bus and trailer in Adams County, some of which were sexually abused.

In total, the Adams County SPCA removed 30 birds (including chickens, roosters, ducks and turkeys), three German Shepherds, an Australian Shepherd, a bull and a pony. Some of the animals were also adopted, while the German Shepherds and a duck had to be euthanized due to physical and/or psychological trauma.
