Teen attacked by family dog

A teenager is in hospital after being attacked by his family’s Rottweiler cross.

The 14-year-old is being treated for facial injuries at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

The attack happened around 9:30 a.m. at the family home in Elizabeth Park.

The boy’s family has not released any information about his condition, but the local council says the owners will have the dog destroyed.
