Suspect arrested for drunk driving with child in tow in Houston | Texas

Houston, Texas — A woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated with an 11-year-old child in her vehicle, according to Harris County authorities.

On July 4, 2024, officers from Constable Mark Herman’s office conducted a traffic stop in the 19504 block of Katy Freeway. The driver, identified as Porsha Gibson, exhibited multiple signs of intoxication. After administering a series of standardized field sobriety tests, officers determined that Gibson was intoxicated.

“Porsha Gibson was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on a charge of driving while intoxicated with a child as a passenger. Her court records and bond are not available at this time,” said Constable Mark Herman.
