Motorcyclist dies on Saturday after accident in Nassau: Police

GARDEN CITY, NY — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Garden City Saturday afternoon, police said.

According to Nassau County Police, the accident occurred at 3:50 p.m. when a 28-year-old man driving a 2021 Kawasaki motorcycle collided with a 2007 Lexus driven by a 66-year-old man on Old Country Road near Prescott Street.

The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene; the driver of the 2007 Lexus was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, police said.

No charges have been filed in connection with the accident and the investigation is still ongoing, police said.
