Man killed in afternoon shooting in northeast DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — DC police said they are looking for three suspects in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred Saturday afternoon.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) was called to the 1800 block of Providence Street NE around 2 p.m. There they found a man who had been shot.

His death was pronounced at the scene.

According to MPD, three suspects fled the scene in a black pickup truck. Two of the suspects were women and one was a man.
