Bronx shooting leaves one dead: NYPD

NEW YORK – A man has died in a shooting in the Bronx.

According to police, the incident occurred Wednesday evening around 6:30 p.m. near East 187th Street and Beaumont Avenue in Belmont.

According to authorities, a 30-year-old man was shot in the head and taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Eleven bullet casings were found at the crime scene.

There have been no arrests so far and investigations are ongoing.
