“They actually sew fake pockets into their clothes,” Snyder said. “So they can walk away with two to three thousand dollars worth of high-end cosmetics at once.”

The manager of Stuart CVS showed this information to the deputy investigating her store, who passed it on to the rest of the sheriff’s office.

Snyder said another officer spotted the suspects at another CVS store just a few miles down the road.

“Within an hour, we had the suspects arrested,” Snyder said. “And then we discovered that they had actually robbed four stores during their stay.”

Snyder said the suspects robbed two Walgreens stores in addition to the two CVS stores.

And the sheriff said that thefts of this kind are not just a problem for businesses, but a problem for everyone.

Snyder said this leads to higher prices in general and that is why he thinks the arrest of the Duncas is so important.

“They steal anything that isn’t tied down,” Snyder said. “These people have no scruples. They don’t care about Western values. And they spend their whole lives stealing from us every day.”
