Two people arrested in connection with Marlboro County mob attack

MARLBORO COUNTY, SC (WBTW) — Two brothers are facing assault charges after beating a man last week, according to Marlboro County authorities.

Marquis and Naquan Collins were both charged with second-degree assault and released on $5,000 bail.


According to officials, the men went to a home in Bennettsville on Friday and attacked a man with whom they had previously had a verbal altercation.

Marquis Collins was arrested Sunday and Nathan Collins later turned himself in to authorities in Dillon, who extradited him to Marlboro County.
